Are You Comfortable Being Alone?

I’ve done thousands of readings for clients who are in bad relationships.

What Do I Mean By Bad Relationships?

Maybe one partner is cheating, or drinking, or is abusive.

Or perhaps lifestyle compatibility is lost. Or the love has faded. Or the joy is gone.

Maybe you don’t respect each other anymore.

Maybe you dread the sound of your partner pulling into the driveway after work. Perhaps you sit in the car or hit the bar before walking inside your house to face another night with your partner.

Perhaps your relationship started out solid. You were both happy, you had similar lifestyle habits, you wanted the same future.

But things are way different now.

So my clients come to me for a reading, often asking how to save their relationships.

Is Your Relationship Worth Saving?

When I ask them why they want to stay in a bad relationship, the #1 reason I get is, “Because it’s better than being alone.”

They would rather continue to be abused or ignored or forced to do things they don’t want to do because they are too afraid to be on their own.

Perhaps they are afraid of being destitute or having to start working when they haven’t been in the work force for years. Or they think a separation might hurt the kids.

I get it. I get why people stay in bad relationships because the consequences can often seem so dire. Being alone can be torture. It often feels much better to tolerate what you have even if it isn’t perfect.

Learning To Be Comfortable Being Alone

Learning to be comfortable being alone is an important part of life. If you are comfortable living on your own then you never need to suffer or tolerate abuse by a partner. You never need to worry about supporting yourself because you’ll already be doing it.

Being alone doesn’t mean you have to be lonely. It means giving yourself the space to evaluate new relationships and only accept the ones that are healthy and joyous.

During readings, your guides will tell you what happens if you stay with your current partner, and they will tell you what happens if you separate. They will share information about how to best pick up the pieces of your life, move on, heal, and find a new partner or just enjoy being alone.

Your guides know that being alone can feel like the scariest thing in the world, but it can also free you to move forward into a healthy relationship where you are celebrated, not tolerated.

Get in touch with your guides and hear what advice they have for you. Book a reading with Erin today!

It’s worth analyzing your current relationship and asking yourself the hard question. “Am I so afraid of being alone that I’m willing to be sad, upset, scared, or angry all the time?

If you would like to know how you can improve your relationship or what happens if you leave your relationship, you can ask your guides and they’ll lay it out for you.

Have a frank and honest conversation with yourself and ask yourself if you genuinely love your relationship or you’re staying because you’re afraid of what will happen if you leave.
